    Bancroft Park, (right) - with the 1859 Cabin visible, the original National Hotel and 1st National Bank of Colorado City, building, (left) (now Michael Garman's Gallery), and the Carnegie (Old Colorado City Branch) Library,(1904) (Center) and Colbrunn Court.. Originally this one block street, ending with the Library was named 'Court Street' when Bancroft Park housed El Paso County Seat until 1873, when Colorado Springs 'stole it' It was renamed in 1985 in honor of Wes Colbrunn who was a key player in the revitalization as director of the Old Colorado City Development Company that made SBA guaranteed loans to business.
