Manitou Springs

Mansion Hotel or Beebee house in the early 1880's. It later burned down, but not before William Henry Jackson took this photograph.
In 1887 A. W. Bailey and George M. Walker were proprietors of both the Manitou House and the Mansions Hotel, but the listing for 1890 an 1892 says A. W. Bailey is the proprietor of both establishments. (it is not listed in 1886)
The listing for 1894 states that George M. Walker is now the proprietor of both hotels, and there is no listing for A. W. Bailey in Manitou, Colorado City, of Colorado Springs.
