Pikes Peak Hill Climb, 8-28-1938, Louis Unser, who won the open-wheel division in 15:49.9 (the first win in under 16 minutes).Al Rogers was second. Two years earlier the race had to be delayed to clear the snow-drifts. McKnight Collections, #80-1-P341.
