Pikes Peak Hill Climb
Pikes Peak Hill Climb, 1934, Louis Unser's first win (16:01). He would go on to win in 1938, breaking the 16 minute barrier, and in 1949, backing across the finish line. In 1960, they wouldn't let him race because of his age. In 1961 Louis raced, and paid the entry fee with his social security check. His last race was in 1964, 38 years after his first race in 1926!
