Rio Grande Southern railroad

The "Galloping Goose" along the Sneffels range, outside Telluride. 8 were converted from Pierce Arrow Tour Cars, by Jack Oderbaugh. Number 3 is now in California at Knottsberry Farm. Number 4 is in Telluride. Number 5, shown here, will be used in Chama, New Mexico, on the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad this summer (1998). It is owned by the Rio Grnade Southern Railroad Museum, and usually resides in Dolores, Colorado. Numbers 2, 6, and 7 can be seen at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado.
