Colorado City
"Colorado City Swells" at the Barber Shop at 516 Colorado Avenue. (Today's 2515
West Colorado Avenue)
The City Directory for 1894 lists a J. R. Gillaspie at 516 1/2 Colorado Avenue (he roomed on W. First between Lincoln and Colorado) The 1890 directory lists a John Gillespie (with an E) as being a laborer and living at 611 Colorado.
The man leaning against the wall in the back (with the straw in his mouth) appears to be seen again in the photo of 516 Colorado, with a mustache (in the white coat)
